SNACK-A-ROO
One of many postcards in my collection from this company. All have descriptions that over-glorify the crafty (crappy) objet. SNACK-A-ROO is one of my favorites.
“SNACK-A-ROO — The ‘seedy’ guy who makes a hit with everyone. He’s a cunning, decorative centerpiece that quickly becomes the most unusual snack server imaginable. Really something to crow about when pre-cut form has been ‘feathered’ with the exciting variety of exotic seeds. Special bronze-colored stick-a-pick base provides excellent hors d’oeuvre server. Other ‘relatives’ available include SNACK-A-BIDDY (companion server) and MINI-CHECKS (favor/place cards). All original creations from the National Handcraft Studios.”
I know you all want one, but I wouldn’t bother looking for these at your local flea market. They have all been eaten by insects and rodents.
