RED SNAPPER
RED SNAPPER — Lutjanus aya
The red snapper lives in deep water in the Gulf of Mexico, on the lower Atlantic Coast, and in the West Indies. It is often found near reefs. A favorite food fish. Average 2 to 4 pounds but reaching 55 occasionally.
