A HAREM of PALMS
GREETINGS from the DATE EMPIRE
MALE AND FEMALE DATE BLOSSOMS
The fluffy white male blossom is seen on the right while the female blossom which appears like individual beads on a string is to the left. Dates have been hand pollinated for centuries as nature provides no adequate means of transferring pollen. Date groves average one male palm to a harem of 49 palms or 50 trees to the acre.
So is this guy a professional Date Pollinator?

GREETINGS FROM NEBRASKAland
Texas Longhorn Cattle, once counted in the millions, were almost extinct in 1920. By careful selection and breeding, the Fort Niobrara National wildlife Refuge has built up one of the finest herds to be found anywhere. It is located on State Highway 12, five miles northeast of Valentine, Nebraska.

Boring Postcard #5
GREETINGS FROM BASS CAPITOL OF THE WORLD
This was one of the first postcards added to my collection (over 20 years ago), and still one of my favorite boring cards. Note that they erroneously used the word “CAPITOL” instead of “CAPITAL.”
Even better? There’s no other information on the card, except that it was published by a company in Sebring, Florida.
