Texas Longhorn Cattle, once counted in the millions, were almost extinct in 1920. By careful selection and breeding, the Fort Niobrara National wildlife Refuge has built up one of the finest herds to be found anywhere. It is located on State Highway 12, five miles northeast of Valentine, Nebraska.

Chief Whitecalf and his Sioux Indians perform authentic war, snake and buffalo dances daily at North Platte, Nebraska.

Balanced Rock In Nebraska’s Toadstool Park
Toadstool Park, located only 2 miles off State Highway 2 about 17 miles north of Crawford, Nebraska, has many many odd formations caused by erosion. It is visited by thousands annually.
