WORLD’S LARGEST ABE LINCOLN STATUE
ABRAHAM LINCOLN MEMORIAL PARK
World’s largest statue of Lincoln, 64 feet tall, is located East of Charleston, Illinois on Route 16. This is the Land of Lincoln. His father and stepmother are buried near here. Lincoln Log Cabin State Park is nearby with camping facilities.
World’s worst Abe Lincoln statue?

VOTE TOMORROW
Here’s wishing that the voting process is as easy as it can possibly be for you tomorrow, not only in states affected by Hurricane Sandy, but in those infected with suppression schemes.
More of these to come tonight and tomorrow.
Dear Fellow Pennsylvanian,
Ray Shafer is the ONLY candidate for Governor with experience on the job. As Lt. Governor, he has been Governor Scranton’s strong right arm in building a better Pennsylvania…and will carry on this progress without let-up when elected.
…
Quite a man, Ray Shafer…and he’ll make quite a Governor. Vote for Ray Shafer for Governor on Tuesday, November 8th.
FLIP! FLIP! Love it! Next: Governor Flip? President Flip?
This scene could be in the opening credits of their TV show.

BREAKING FROM BAD
I sincerely hope that you and yours are well and safe post-Sandy. I would have posted this Atlantic City card yesterday, but didn’t have access to my collection. I live in a New York City evacuation zone and moved to higher ground for safety. (The BAD POSTCARDS archive is safe and dry.)
Best wishes to all.
